Myopia

Myopia: It is a refractive state in which the focal point is produced in front of the retina rather than over it. The consequence of this is poor distance vision. The most common origin of this condition is the increase of the eye's length in comparison with the usual values. Alterations in the retina and crystalline can be observed as well. The therapeutic options are the following: the use of glasses or contact lenses, refractive surgery or phakic intraocular lens implants.
