Astigmatism

Astigmatism: It is a disorder produced by an imbalance of the curvature axes in the cornea, making it more oval-shaped. As a consequence, there is poor clarity and there can also be myopia or hypermetropia. The treatment includes the use of glasses or contact lenses, refractive surgery or toric intraocular lens implants.
